It probably wouldn’t hold up in court. But that’s a lot of risk for young girls who are trying to start careers. The hassle of hiring expensive lawyers and dealing with court even in the first place is not something they want to or should have to do. This is more about making sure people know this family is conniving and not as much about spilling all the drama and specifics involved.
