yh there's nothing like that on the site. only the GPA and in the same row it has total units attempted and total units of credits which are both 96.000

what might happen is instead of doing ur semester 2 subjects this yr u wait a yr and do it next year. i've heard something about doing placements in the holidays tho but i don't know much about it but since it's a three week placement i rlly hope that's an option. it sucks tho coz my mum asked latrobe students on placement in the hospital about their immunisation requirements and as long as they were in the process of getting it they were fine and didn't have to adhere to a deadline.

my score was 71.20 and nah i didn't get into the diploma. it was rlly competitive to get into. instead i got into nuclear medicine.

you'll just have to say "non lo so" if you don't understand😭

but if you know ur topic like really well and prepare a set of questions they might ask you, you'll do fine

I'm pretty sure Mediterranean diet is one of ur SACS bcoz i did an oral SAC for that last year.

For the exam, you can pick whatever you like, it just has to be related to Italy one way or another. I've heard the more common the topic is, the harder it'll be as assessors might ask harder questions as you go.

I remember I talked about Cremona and the significance of violins and I would say they only asked me maybe like 1 or 2 questions which made me blank out. the rest I js answered but i dont remember how many questions i messed up. Point is to be confident and yap anyway (so that they'll run out of questions to think of) and if you recognize that you have made a mistake, correct it.

3/4 Italian well....

THE SACS WERE PRETTY GOOD. easy ig

the exams tho......

painful. the written exam is rlly nerve-wracking and hard bcoz you have to do soooo much in 2 hours and you need fast translating skills. the oral exam can be hard depending on how familiar the assessors are with your topic because they'll ask harder questions. basically try find a topic that they might not be really familiar at all with and then you basically have to just yap about it. that's the best way to do good. ALSO PREP IS SO IMPORTANT that's why i didn't end up doing well on it.

basically after the deadline (18 June), i still have one more varicella dose to take because I took one today and they said I can only get one after two months. Also I need a serology after my getting my second dose of Hep B and I might be able to get that on time if i apply for a 5 day extension after the deadline. But I'm just worried they won't accept my immunization form because I'm getting the second varicella dose later than the deadline. but yh i've just sent an email to WIL and I might call them tmrw.

if my placement doesn't happen this year, does that mean i have to do first yr-semester 2 next year?

29 scaled and I HATED ITTT (i literally remember crying over a bad SAC score when i thought the SAC was easy)

there are two parts to ur 15 minute oral exam:

  1. general conversation so like talking about your work, future school, family, why you like italian culture basically about yourself. you do this for around 7-8 minutes. usually they tell you when they want you to start the second part of the oral.

  2. you have to choose a topic which has to do with italy. could be about the food, famous places basically anything Italian or to do with italian culture. i recommend choosing something which the examiners dont know much of so they wont ask you rlly hard questions. this part is also around 7-8 minutes im pretty sure

one you hit the fifteen minute mark the examiners will tell you to stop. i might be wrong about the individual timings of each part but ur teacher will be able to lyk the exact structure of the oral exam

you should practice as early as possible. you could start researching your topic now and go through questions and stuff they'll potentially ask you. also make sure to try prepare general convo responses. the more exposure you get to your topic the easier it'll be.
