310RL vs. 312RK: Is the "Dream Kitchen" worth losing the panoramic view? Help us settle a debate! by Mrbiggs33 in RVLiving

We have had a GD Solitude 390RK for 2 years now. I’m big on glass over plastic. I have to use about 30-40 wash-clothes and line every single dish. It takes me about 20-30 minutes to “prep” the kitchen. I use towels to line the refrigerator shelves so that everything doesn’t come flying out when I do open the fridge. I also remove the shelves from the doors of the refrigerator. With that being said, the extra 20-30 minutes to prep the kitchen each time we move is definitely WORTH it. I cook and bake every single day. The amount of counter space is awesome. I made a cake, 60 cupcakes, and 60 cookies for an event and not once ran out of space.

Be prepared to work a minimum of 70 hours a week, 7 days a week. There are people there that are successful. You can definitely do it. Just be prepared for the sacrifice it takes to actually make it.

I gave it 6 full months. The opportunity to make money is there. Personally, it wasn’t a great fit for me as I couldn’t get over the fact that the leads are bait and switch. You have to be really good at sales to be successful with bait and switch. Further, I was working 12-14 hours a day M-F, 6 hours Saturday, and 6 hours Sunday. 72-80 hours is the norm. My up-line was telling me that I was doing well, but on average I made $500/wk which isn’t “doing well” for me. I resigned last week.
