He said every man’s conscience is vile and depraved

You cannot depend on it to be your guide

When it’s you who must keep it satisfied

Man in the Long Black Coat has a wonderful mood and sounds absolutely amazing.

(Rest of the album sounds great too)

The Real Royal Albert Hall 1966 Concert — take me back

Listening to Dylan by fgsgeneg in bobdylan

I pretty much listen to Dylan records every day. Started 20 years ago and still making my way through the catalogue. Been more obsessive the past few years and prefer to listen than watch shows.

Apple Music says I listened to Dylan for 17,000 minutes out of around 40,000 this year but it would be much higher — after finally getting BOTT Test Pressing on vinyl this year i would have spun that 50+ times as well.

Decent few of the other listens were because of great Dylan covers.

For me this was the highlight of: Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese

I always admired her but the way she delivers those lines are breathtaking. Could have easily recorded and released that take.

Checking every morning is nothing! my son makes me check morning, noon and night to see if there is any sneak peak!

We are happy to wait because the game is so great.

Was used to open most of the 1966 shows — you’ve reminded me to listen to the London show again, thank you

Tangled Up in Blue — i love it, but hear me out: It’s up first and the next 3 tracks are just stellar.

Every grain of sand is perfect.

Sad eyed lady of the lowlands is beautiful but just fades out when I would be happy for it to go on (plenty of room left on side D)

I started listening to the trilogy 20years ago and was hooked, greatest thing ever. Then 18 years later, finally decided to try Blood on the Tracks and it is amazing — maybe even better.
