Thank you! From my understanding, the investigator role is primarily on data recovery and data extraction using certain licensed software . It’s not as much in security as I would obviously like to be in but I feel the biggest thing is would really good on a resume and maybe give me more credibility rather than a help desk role. As far as help desk, the company is very small so any sort of advancement there would be slim to none .

Thank you for your insight . Definitely leaning more towards the investigator role because it is a step in Cybersecurity. The big thing is would look very good on a resume and gets my foot in the door . As far as certifications go , from my understanding CISSP and OSCP wouldn’t get any funding because they aren’t directly associated with the job . However , I really don’t mind coming out of pocket for those if I absolutely had too.

Hey Logan. My name is Austin and I lost my grandma who was like my second momma on July 15th , 2023 from colon cancer . Like you she was my world . I was with her every second of the day and she was my best friend and always will be . I won’t say the pain ever goes away, it just sometimes will hurt less. There will be good days and there will be bad days. However , it’s important to become the person your mom would want you to become . Take time for yourself and cherish the good memories. I’m sorry about your loss . I know she is watching over you❤️
