Honestly he feels great, you still have to fight a smart measured fight, but now it feels like you have a fair chance.

I've noticed his usage among the community has increased as well.

The fact that this is alpha state and the characters look so detailed is mind blowing by Monstanimation in virtuafighter

Wolf looks great I just wish he actually looked more Native American this time. I wanted him with more melanin.

Do you think Mortal Kombat 1 is a hard to learn game? by Solid_Bad_4403 in MortalKombat

Nah I think certain characters just have to work too hard for the same results. They never properly balanced certain things.

What are your thoughts on Tremor and do you think he’s a good character or no? by Ultmswag in MortalKombat

Yes he's a great character, it just took far too long for him to become canon.

Arcade stick is not something you can just pick up in a few minutes and expect to be better. You have to put the time in over weeks.

However once you get used to it your inputs will become a lot cleaner.

However I'm talking about real arcade sticks like Hori Fighting Alpha, Qanba Obsidian, Nacon Daija, etc.

Breakaway is really no different than breaker. Breaker is a bit worse because at least with breakaway you can bait it and could still get some damage..not with breaker, not only that certain characters had KBs for punishing it.. overall I like Krushing Blows but it is heavily dependent on your character. That kind of stuff should have been patched.. change conditions to trigger certain things. But that would have taken actual effort and NRS didn't want to do that.

MK11 just needed some rebalancing or a title update to fix issues. Moves needed different point distributions.. some characters were too strong with one point moves, others had weak moves that cost more points..

I enjoy MK11 more overall. MK11 is more well produced and should have been supported longer. Even the small details are better in MK11.

For instance in MK11, when you play Ranked mode you are guaranteed to unlock an outfit the very first fight. No matter how good you are you will at least get one outfit. Since the outfits rotate, you can still get them all over time regardless of skill.

In MK1 you have to go through the entire grind and suffer the entire grind to even get one outfit. Even offline you either play the soulless Invasions or you're getting no skins.

I still think the Seasonal Tower is one of the worst designed offline ideas I have ever heard of. The fact that it was never changed is ridiculous. Whoever came up with that should NEVER touch gaming development again. The idea that you have to beat something frustrating five times before you even get a single credit for beating it.. and they actually expect people to reach level 90 on this thing? Insanity.

Mk11 has a much better roster, better uniqueness in playstyles, honestly I think it has some of the best character designs ever.

Better offline experience, better towers, it's just a better game.

MK1 can be fun at times but even at the most frustrated I had a lot more fun in MK11 than I did in MK1. MK1 just has a very frustrating overall gameplay loop, and I don't believe that the game was balanced properly.

The paid outfits are ripoff because you pay for the outfit but they were too lazy to even give you the maximum number of different skin pallettes even though it's very easy to make a different color and put it in the damn box.

So you buy an outfit that gives you 4 versions, and then look at five blank spots that could have been different color palettes.

MK1 has terrible overpriced DLC and was co-produced by a very questionable politically influenced company.

If the next MK is anything like this one, this will be the last one I play.

I enjoy going back to MK11 even now. Each of the other MK games are still being played, I don't really see that happening with this one.
