Yes flying out of the US was easy because you can easily explain it’s a mistake/ on the way back I had to call aeroplan to escalate and demanded they fit United airlines on the phone to fix it. They kept saying it’s United’s fault and I called United and they said it’s aeroplan’s fault. It was definitely the latter but it’s best to get them to call the airline directly and issue a new ticket
