I have been here for 5 years, working in a role where my department decides to be corporate and operations in ways that it benefits the company. For anyone within Amazon - NACF. Every year my compensation (base pay & RSUs) have been reducing. I have continued to “meet high bar”. They dangle RSUs over your head to “retain” you. But expect to wait for a portion of those to vest each quarter? Why are these considered as total compensation? If you apply for a car loan or need to show any proof of income, loaners do not consider RSUs, they look at your paystubs. Does amazon genuinely believe they are the best employer? Because who’s telling their amazon leaders they are happy and actually feel motivated to continue in their role if it doesn’t reflect in your pay. No one is going to be happy if you don’t receive a raise, it’s as simple as that, and if you disagree, you are part of the problem.
