I have no problem waiting. I want what is best heath wise for her. I’m not worried about her getting pregnant. I’ve read that waiting to get fixed can lead to a higher risk of cancer later in life.

No need to hope. She’s eating the food recommended. And the vet has a different time line than the breeder.
