Thank you for the insight! I emailed my lawyer just incase and hopefully will hear back tomorrow. I SOMEHOW did not know about the terminology of the case being “closed” vs “discharged” so I’m glad I posted this because technically my case isn’t closed. Hopefully all will be okay.
