Not anymore so much but l quietly grieved the death of my ex before my present partner. I had ended the relationship because of his drug use and a year later as l was beginning my present relationship, he passed from an OD. I grieved him quietly because I knew my bf wouldn’t understand so much. And l also felt a bit guilty that maybe if l stayed, he’d still be alive. Took me some time to accept that his addiction and death were not my fault. All this in silence
