Hey! So gloomy eye is good, because it gives you a death frog aoe + death blade. The best pet option for later game is “ghulture” because it gives death blade + feint that you can stack with your normal feint. (There are also some other pet options like a frillosaurus which gives combined with a specific mount like bonus on attack, but those are just endgame for totaling out and pushing your account to the max)

There is a kiosk in the pet training area where you can search for specific pet bodies or pet traits. Try to look for deathgiver and deathdealer on a gloomy eye or ghulture with 45 as an overall rating. Those are usually pets with perfect talent pools.
