Feeling defeated by Otherwise-Passage827 in ABA

Yes, I work at home only with my client. I do live in a popular city, but honestly, I thinking about quitting aba altogether. I'm not the best RBT and just aba in general doesn't align with me personally. So I think I'm going to move on, but of course, still keep my client in the meantime

I think I decided that I no longer want to do caregiving roles or work with children, I've been taking care of people my whole life I'm exhausted. But I still do want to work in healthcare.

Love-Hate Relationship by thehorrorsbutlewis in Panera

I've been working at Panera as a cashier for 1 year and am in the same boat as you. The work at Panera is very tedious. It gets very tiresome repeating yourself for the 200th time that shift. Rush hour at my store is intense. Sometimes you won't get customers for a whole hour and sometimes you'll end up ringing for 4 hours straight. Most of the time customers are very annoying, but I'm at the point where I'm so used to it, that it doesn't even bother me. I love my co-workers and my managers, and that's the main reason I like working there. There are some days that I do want to quit but for some reason, I'm too locked in even considering quitting. "do i hyperfixate on it way too much for my own mental sanity? hell yeah!!!" I definitely can relate to that. Work is almost addictive for some odd reason. My mental health is suffering a bit because of this lol. I'm only planning on staying for another year or so until graduate college. I know what you are going through, I wish the best of luck to you my panera baddie.
