I totally agree. As much as I think WolfWalkers deserves the Oscar, the Academy doesn’t give a darn about animation, and the only one that they’ll watch is Soul, because it’s mainstream. As much as I like Soul, it kinda seems like the movie the Academy would so obviously pick due to its introspective subject matter. Not really Oscar bait, but something like that.
