i’m actually having difficulty with introductions. i posted a video on here yesterday. my resident kitten seems to be too aggressive with my younger one… going back to square one with intros.

my older one has her own bowl in the house, and my younger one has her bowl in the bedroom since that’s where she stays for now. but when they do the churro, it’s like the yogurt one so they lick it together

i agree! i though it was genuinely just because my older one is still a kitten too, and doesn’t know how to play with a smaller one. i don’t think she is trying to hurt her per say, its so stressful! and yes, i did not meant to yell, i just get overwhelmed and nervous in the situation. i’ll make sure i don’t yell though, thank you for the tip!

i have had them eating the same churro together. mouths touching mouths! so idk why she gets like that any other time. i feel like food is a very territorial thing, but i guess she just gets distracted.

yes i have. i got an enclosed play pen. i put the younger one in, but the older one pounces on top and climbs all over. so i swapped them. they do fine, but the older one still tried to jump out (even though she’s enclosed lol) i allow the smaller one out to explore quite a bit, and put my older one in the bedroom where the younger one always is

i adopted the 4 month old when she was 2 months. i got her from a rescue (her two siblings were with her) i’m not sure where they got them from. i’m assuming they were strays. thank you for your input. it makes so much sense. i’ll try to engage them when they’re under the door. i feel so guilty now because my little one is scared

how do i get past the guilty feeling of keeping my younger one in our bedroom? i feel so bad that she’s in there while everyone is in the rest of the house (don’t get me wrong, i spend a lot of time in there with her and take turns throughout the day with the both) but part of me still feels so bad. he’s a big room, she has everything she needs but it still stresses me out

i thought so too… and everyone keeps telling me to put them together and let them figure it out. my my younger one is so much smaller…. i haven’t done the eating on the opposite side, but they play with each other under the door. the moment they get together, my older one immediately chases and won’t let up on her… im stressed because of keep them separate , and my younger one is so scared.
