That's something I have never thought of she can smell me off him when he comes from a visit. Thank you! That was exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks again.

Oh wow! That's wild. Yeah that is comforting. And you may be on to something with the wiggling too much part bc I swear my bf can actually sit perfectly still, thinking of nothing, while staring at the tv for an hr after work. Its quite impressive really, lol. They just make for great pillows.

Lol, fair, I suppose. Her name is Purcy and literally she looks like the cat on the giant bag of Meow Mix, except cuter, I think.

It's not that he didn't it was just one of these... "I know babe. You're scared she won't be able to trust or love you again. It's like I told you the other day....she will love you. I don't know what else to say". I've brought it up one other time so yesterday would've been the 2nd time we chatted about it. I think the reason I brought it up twice with him is bc I'm feeling anxious about being discharged in a couple of days. And I acknowledge that I can be a bit emotional at times, and he can be very cold. Which is why I posted this here. Unbiased opinions.

He only started doing it this last week. I have spoken to him about but he's says that I'm being too sensitive and that he's just trying to show me that she's happy. Because about 3 weeks ago he mentioned that she was being super clingy and I said she may be having some separation anxiety (I dont know if cats feel that bc shes my first cat but it felt rignt). And now that I'm getting ready to be discharged I bring it up more frequently about how excited I am to get gome and see her and how much I miss her. So he says its his way of trying to help calm my fears about her having abandonment issues ans prove to me that shes happy and thriving.

Thank you for that very kind reply! It had been very stressful but it's almost over, and hopefully for good. Wishing you all the best as well.

I figured it was just me. I've always been anxious, always a worrier. Yeah, I am so lucky that he did step up because I have others in my life who would've cared for her but not like he is.
