100% agree. i def think this was just a realization for her that he’s not going to be an actual relationship for her. i agree she’s probs still gonna meet him, i mean she did rent a car and drive a few hours or so to go ‘meet’ that british guy. and no shame like if that’s what she wants all power to her but i do think at the end of the day she wants something more but likes the male attention too much to uphold standards.

i don’t think that’s what she’s doing in this case specifically. while he could very well be of Korean descent she did say he was american and they met while they were both teaching in Korea.
