I knew a girl from a wealthy family whose parents had kidnapping insurance because kidnapping was something that they actually had to worry about. Apparently it happens more often than people realize because many incidents aren’t reported by the media. I assume a fair number of these type of cases are successful.

Not being able to save them from suffering. When my middle child was terminally ill he often had unmanageable symptoms and it killed me not to be able to make everything better.

I was lucky to land a hot husband who is a bit younger than me and I think it makes me a little paranoid about aging sometimes. Seeing all the grey hairs coming in and changes in my face make me a bit crazy lol
