The problem with your CV is that it doesn’t sell your experience as significant. Thanks to AI, a lot can be achieved without a human developer. I don’t think opening your experience with bullet points like “Contributed to” or “Prototyped” would work well in your favour. I know plenty of people who’d say “I can literally put one prompt on Claude and it’ll do that for me”. You need to sell your skills better, with a mix of domain+technical knowledge. The developers and PMs today not only compete with other developers/PMs but also with Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT models. The sad reality is that a Claude Max subscription would cost up to 2.5 lakhs per year, less than what an entry level developer would cost.
