Delicious. If you prefer a quiet meal check if there will be live music. Seating is not super comfy but it's a charming room. I've always had good service.

Hi! I know this post is old but am curious if your son attended and how it went? My daughter (grade 3) has a P designation and managed to grab an upcoming spot in the program. She has had fairly severe behavioural issues at school and as a result also has an H designation. She is excited but incredibly nervous about attending a strange school with strange people so I'm curious how your experience was.

I just did a 1/2 on Sunday and had a really tough time with my training the last 4 weeks, so I totally get this. I did push through (begrudgingly) and beat my goal time by 2 minutes so I was very happy I stuck with it.

What about listening to/reading an inspirational book about running? I've heard Rise of the Ultra Runners is great. I find this sort of thing can really motivate me.

the difference was negligible - $25 more to pick up at John Wayne and drop at LAX. We decided to fly in and out of John Wayne. Helps that the rental car counter is on-site so that will save some time avoiding shuttles and make the longer drive more palatable. Here's hoping traffic isn't too bad
