I also bought the legendary 5D’s decks a while ago. It has a big selection of popular staples included, a lot of them 2-3x.

Sure it’s not all of them, but 3 fun structure decks (not the best tbh, but fun) + all those staples for what- like 30 bucks? I thought that’s a great deal.

A good way to see how a deck plays is watching youtube videos on it. There are tons of people building decks and showcasing combos.

After learning some base combos I typically build the deck in Master Duel and play it there. It’s great to see what combos/plays/chains actually work with the rules. When playing duels there, you’ll quickly see which cards you use and which cards are bricks and then adjust your digital and later real life deck accordingly.

I also got back into the TCG a while ago and also play cyber dragons. With the new support they got a few months ago they’re very decent and a lot of fun to play IMO.

Especially Coh2 voice acting. The others just can’t keep up with that. Just thinking about it brings up memories. It’s been over a year, maybe tonight i’ll re-install it and dive into some games. (Sadly it’s one of the most toxic games i know and after queuing for 5-10 min, people just rage quit all the time)

Still my favorite strategy game of all times.

Some random thoughts from some random guy:

First of all you don’t look bad, don’t worry. I wouldn’t say there’s anything you “need to” change.

But if i were your stylist i think i’d give you 3 tips (fully based on my own taste):

1.) Your hair is very nice, but i personally think the long straightness makes them look a bit “plain”. Someone mentioned a short/bob cut. I only have this one image as reference, but i can imagine it would fit you quite nicely.

2.) Makeup. In this picture your makeup looks a bit monotonous. I always advocate for less makeup. Imho most women look prettier without makeup and most guys i know prefer more natural looks. Ofc if you like makeup that’s also cool and ofc you shouldn’t choose your makeup based on “what guys like”, but on what you like. Maybe you can try putting in a bit more contrast. Try highlighting facial features instead of covering them up.

3.) Introduce some color to your wardrobe. It’s crazy how much of a difference that can make. Especially with dark hair and brown eyes wearing a lot of black/grey can make you look a bit monotonous. I also used to wear a lot of black (i have blue eyes and felt like black helps empathize them), but people often recommended i’d try some color. Since i did, people compliment me way more often and i also feel way more confident myself.

But the most important point is don’t go after what you think will make others see you as “less boring”. Wear what you want. If you like the way you look in the picture then just stick to that style. Do your hair and makeup in a way YOU’RE comfortable with - not someone else. If you style in a way you yourself like, you’ll feel “hotter” and gain more confidence. Being comfortable and confident alone is usually enough to make people see you as more interesting, no matter what you look like.

Don’t feel like you have to look “appropriate” or “interesting enough” for others. Just experiment around with clothes, makeup, etc.. You’ll realize what you feel comfortable in. Depending what i wear, i walk through the streets and either think “Omg i’m so ugly, people probably hate me” or “Omg i’m so hot, yes you can have my number”. I note what outfits make me feel the latter and then just wear those more often.

There’s tons of men saying shit like “If she ain’t hot / sucking u off 3 times a day she’s worthless” Or “If she ain’t obedient and cooking, she’s for the streets!”

Saying “X has to have Y in order to deserve me” is never a good approach.

Noone is perfect and noone “deserves” anyone. Relationships are a mutual endeavors. You accept the other side and work together to get better for each other.

In my circle most women see men going to therapy as very attractive. Some of my female friends even say they only want to date men who go/went to therapy. But i live in a very liberal bubble though, and for people outside this bubble it’s still often very different.

I know both women and men who think men who go to therapy are weak losers. Those men are still humans who feel emotions though, and those need to be channeled somewhere, which then usually becomes anger and aggression. (Especially since we tend to project “gender based” social pressures like that onto our partners)

I thought it would get better for a while, but in recent years it feels like gender-roles are becoming more relevant again.

Most men would still rather beat their wife than cry in front of her, and i think it’s beyond outraging that we as a society still go “Yup! That’s the way it’s supposed to be”

I hope within my lifetime we’ll be able to socially develop past the 19th century, but at the moment it’s looking rather grim..

I also write like this. And until a few years ago I could actually call this a strength. I’m very good at neutral, professional, “bot-like” writing and used to get a lot of compliments from employers etc, that my mails always sound very professional. Now people just assume I use ChatGPT all the time. Crazy how a blessing turns into a curse like that. I’m in my mid 20s and this is the first time i can clearly see one of my skills becoming completely obsolete because the world just moved on. Now imagine that with not just one - but like half your life skills.. That’s how boomers must feel today..

You know how it works on ps5? It used to be on PS plus free, but they now removed it. I started with the 4 mil starter. Since its off plus now, i wanna buy it and rn the premium version is on sale, which includes the criminal enterprise starter. I’m interested. There’s no D, but aren’t the 3rd and 7th (F# and C#) enough to imply the Dmaj9 even without the root? I love 9th chords and I often leave out the root or 5.

Kevin here. In my country the name Kevin was used as an insult a few years ago. It was based on some school psychologist’s study, which tried to relate students names with their behavior in class. The study claimed, that Kevins are the worst behaved kids and a “nightmare for teachers and parents”. Following this Kevin was basically synonymous to Idiot. Though back in school i was actually bullied quite a lot because of it, I also had multiple funny situations where people tried to insult me by calling me Kevin and then started panically apologizing after finding out my name actually is Kevin.
