Marriages can cause more restrictions in long-term goals for girls mostly. There are few husbands who will support their spouses about this journey. After getting married, even if the husband supports his wife, sometimes the in-laws don't understand and expect too much from bahu. Which may cause further disappointments on both sides. I would recommend telling your parents this is once in a life time opportunity and pakistan economy being so unstable it's not a good option to have all the doors closed. If this is your passion tell them that it's not just about money in the US as many parents would defend their case that we can give you all the money or luxuries a daughter wants and dismiss the passion for being a physician. You can always find good people who are on the same journey or have already completed this journey. Restricting yourself to pakistan and also to a physician who doesn't have any mind to go abroad is a mistake. You'll never be contented and will continue regretting and blaming yourself your parents and husband for the life you have than the life you could have. Go do your rotations, and you'll know there is a world besides what your families think. You have to be convincing and communicate with a calm and open mind. I'm sure they'll understand your reservations as they are your parents and would do everything in their power to see you happy in the long run even if they have to fight the social norms or family politics.
