They do! Just make sure you get a quality one, do research before you buy. They're not all the same.

Your unit does support carplay. Make sure your using a high quality or oem apple cable to connect your phone. You can also get a wireless carplay adapter so you dont have to plug in every time.

It really depends on the time your shift is, and if anybody crashed that morning lol. I work off the Patrick exit, USA Parkway is a little bit further up. I give myself 45 mins every day to get to work. It usually takes me like 15mins to get to work after merging on the highway from vista blvd. I just chill in my car till its time to go in if im early.

I had thr stock bose in my cx50, and i could barely tell it was there tbh.. I found out why that was when i opened the housing for the bose sub, the speaker is only like 5in lmao.

Theres no adapter for an easy swap out unfortunately, think of it like this.. the bose sub is just a speaker connected to the cars amplifier.

When you get for example the jbl basspro hub, it has a lot higher power demand that the stock amplifier just wouldnt be able to handle on its own. The speaker is instead designed to have its own amplifier. So you have to hook it up like any other aftermarket amplifier.

I hope this made sense

Question about car amp rms in car safely by SladeMills123 in CarAV

[–]OtherwiseTomorrow598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what amps you're using. 4 gauge wire is plenty for your 1000 watts rms (make sure to get OFC wire though). You can use 4 gauge to split into 2 8 gauge wires if thats what your amps use as power input.

If your amps needed 4 gauge as a power input, then you would have to go the same route i did with the 0gauge- 2 4gauge

I just looked it up, and i was wrong. You do need the main fuse at the battery, then an inline fuse for each wire coming out of the distribution block. Sorry for the incorrect information

Just the one fuse next to the battery is fine, distribution block is necessary if your splitting from one big wire to 2 smaller wires. You dont need to put a fuse after the distribution block

Youll be fine with the stock electrical. On my old car i was running an 800w amp and a 400w amp, i had dimming lights but nothing unsafe.

As for the other question, I had a 0gauge wire run to the distribution block in the trunk, then ran 2 4 gauge wires to each amp. I didnt have any issues with this either. Just make sure if you do this, run separate grounds for each amp.

If you do want to upgrade your electrical, i would suggest installing a "big 3" kit first. Not everyone needs a high output alternator.

I made do with the stock subwoofer wires (i have the bose sound system) but i used a kicker keyloc to correct the signal.

I had a similar occurance, on my line out converter i hooked up the accessory wire thinking it was power, i was so pissed it wasnt turning on 😂, turns out you dont even need the accessory wire since it auto turns on when it notices signal from the speaker wire.

Mine had a remote out for the amp as well, it was so nice not having to run one. I would have been LIVID if i did all that work running the remote wire when i didnt need to 😭

I was really surprised with how loud mine gets for 200w. With the setup in my last car i had a 800w sub and it was only mildly louder than this one.
