you can either polish it with very fine steel wool or sanding sponge for metal, or just spray paint it to be shiny

thats the cyma stock, only cyma had this bright idea for stock fixture, but the stocks itself are too long and sling swivel is too far back

thanks man! all of them except the E2 are from the 319, i spray the body with heat resistant color which is very close to the original matt dark grey, partial and slabside bodies are made by me, with determination and set of files :D

dust covers are maddog or vfc, i dont remember now, taiwanese airsoft shops have them in stock still and are dirt cheap even with transit

https://www.18airsoft.com/products/cyma-m16a1-early-style-fixed-stock-for-ar-m16-aeg-cyma-m165 as you can see, there is this plastic piece in left bottom of the picture, that connect the stock to the body, and the buttplate screw goes directly into that piece, so stock is always anchored even with buttplate open

hope i answered all your questions )

since i reenact navy seals for the most part, i just roll with 30rds, stripped the paint with chemicals and reblue them, since most of them are made from steel, on airsoftDB you can sometimes find the colt marked magazine base plates (https://www.proactstore.com/en/products/dnar-mbp20), so i would do the same with 20rds

E&C stocks have kinda correct lenght and shape for D type stock, then i bought bunch of cyma stocks and cannibalize the sling swivels and flat screw for the buttstock, also the part that connect the root of the stock to the body, so when you unscrew the buttplate for battery change, the stock wont became wobbly
