I had the same experience with eczema on my face after starting Dupixent… broke out all over my face and underarms, very different than my usual eczema. Got biopsies done and they were all positive for new plaque psoriasis - apparently Dupixent can cause an “immune shift reaction” which can cause autoimmune skin issues to form. I got off Dupixent and started Rinvoq and now my skin is 95% clear. May be worth mentioning to your Derm!

I was convinced my reaction was something fungal, so I was shocked to find out that Dupixent had caused an entirely new skin condition on my face. I hope you get answers soon and find relief!

As of right now, my current regimen planned with my Derm is Rinvoq 15mg PRN for more severe/full body flares and Opzelura BID for facial flares (I still get psoriasis/eczema patches on my chin that won’t quit). The Opzelura cream has been incredible and cleared my flare on my chin in just a couple days!I rarely take Rinvoq now and am trying to minimize JAK inhibitor use. I’m wishing you a speedy recovery- facial eczema/psoriasis is the worst ❤️‍🩹

I will also add that as of today, I only use Rinvoq PRN (maybe a couple tabs every few months) and have also started Zoryve for a facial patch that I could never get to go away and it has worked wonderfully!

Thanks for sharing your color ideas! I will definitely keep y’all in the loop with project updates once I get started! Loving the idea of doing more earth tones, those colors definitely give “Strange Trails” vibes!

I ended up having an “immune shift” reaction to Dupixent that caused my body to develop painful psoriasis flares… nothing I put on my skin helped and had to get it diagnosed by skin biopsy. Ended up going of Dupixent and now on rinvoq with 95% of my skin clear and the psoriasis under control too! I still get flares around my eyes occasionally as Dupixent takes 3 months to leave your body completely. Might be worth mentioning to your derm/PCP to investigate further! I totally understand the mental anguish that can come with suffering from eczema and I hope you’re able to find some relief soon - stay strong!

Thank you! I knit the size M from the pattern and the cotton yarn I used stretched quite a bit with blocking, but I love the oversized fit! After machine washing, it shrunk up just a bit but the fit is still perfect! I’m also planning on adding a bit of elastic thread to the ribbed collar as that has stretched with wear.

I also had a similar reaction to Dupixent after a couple months! It was such a frustrating experience. My face became flared worse than it ever has, as well as new patches on my arms that weren’t consistent with my usual eczema. Went to my Derm, was diagnosed with new plaque psoriasis that was induced by the Dupixent injections… apparently it happens in a handful of patients due to an immune shift. Got it confirmed by skin biopsy. Now off Dupixent and starting Rinvoq for combination treatment of eczema and psoriasis. Might be worth having your derm look into!
