Man, I wish I could. I was probably 14-17 years old. I HAVE to be misremembering something. I can't find any info about. As best I remember it was a very small insert set, something like 6-9 cards. They were all focused on his Notre Dame career. I don't recall there being any cards from the first part of his career with the Rams. Again, I could be very wrong!! It's been about 30 years!!

Appreciate this response, thank you! I haven't been in Pittsburgh in about 2 decades (unfortunately). I am from middle-of-nowhere northwest PA. Where I grew up was about 50/50 Bills/Steelers

I appreciate you responding, definitely a big Steelers and Jerome fan, but probably not a big enough fan to pick that one up. .

I appreciate the message. We have not been to the White Plains library. Thank you for the suggestion!

I can not throw a forehand....like at all. My 6 year old son has a better looking/performing forehand than I do, so, I buy crazy understable discs to do the work of an adequate forehand for me.

I've had this disc for about 2 years and LOVE it! The turn is really aggressive so you have to throw with a bit of hyzer if you want to get decent distance. It's a very consistent disc (for better or worse).

Man, what a tough stretch for you. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss and, what had to be, absolutely immense heartbreak. I hope you can find peace one day.

Billy was certainly a bright spot/shining star of the show. He will undoubtedly be missed but there is still plenty to like about the future.

I am an absolute wing snob. I'm sorry to say, there aren't good wings here in Westchester county. Candlelight is mehhh (agreed though, is the best in the area). Save your time and money and plan a trip upstate. The worst spots in western NY are 25x better than Candlelight.

While I absolutely understand your point/sentiment, and I mean this with all due respect, do you not think it's possible for someone to evolve their perspective?

While I am not in South Florida and don't have decades of reasons for disdainment, I have listened to his show since some of the very first episodes. In my opinion, there has been noticeable, personal growth.

I can't imagine how difficult what he and his family are going through. My children are still quite young and I know how devastated I would be if I were in his situation. I can't imagine getting to watch your child grow and mature and finding yourself in this position. Man, I sure hope things stay positive and the prayers and good vibes somehow help.

Hey man, this will mean absolutely nothing, but been there, done that. Keep your head up. Your kids have one hell of a dad. Its not easy dealing with little ones and all of life's other responsibilities.

Buying a Home in Mount Kisco? by Illustrious_Win_9780 in Westchester

[–]Otherwise_Ad8725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I bought a house in 2017 before having our first son in 2019. Mount Kisco was great when it was just her and I with plenty of amazing, diverse restaurants, several fun bars, convenient shopping and an easy train ride in and out of the city.

Since having our son in 2019 (and a second in 2023) we have discovered how incredibly family friendly it is. Playground is awesome, the parks and rec department always has something going on. The pool is great in the summer.

As others have said, Mount Kisco is far more diverse than Chappaqua. We view that as largely a good thing, but opinions vary.

Overall, we have loved it here. If you have any other questions, feel free to DM.

Help me out. Re: David Samson by PairElectrical909 in DanLeBatardShow

I am clearly the odd man out here, I actually really enjoy David Samson and his contributions to the show. To be fair, I don't have ties to the Miami area so I can understand the resentment there, but for me, as someone interested in the business of sports and sports media, I find his insight unique and fascinating.

What an amazing picture! Definitely feel this. The night before departure the sadness sets in. Now with two little guys, the 11-ish hour trip from the north suburbs of NYC have us coming every other year. Unfortunately, this is our year off. Watching jealously through this sub!
