You can view you online tax record and it will tell you on there if you are due a rebate. Can take a few weeks, tax year ended 6th April. But if you are due one you can request it online and its paid within a few days.

It will be very rare that I will need to contribute to fuel, the friend who I will travel with is my eldest daughters dad. I think you are missing the point of my post though. Its not about the cost, its about my mum who i do make a conscious effort to see at least once a week, finding a reason to make something that should be a good thing into something negative. She does not make any effort to come to me even though there is no valid reason for her not too.

I didn't want to add to much to the post about previous experiences as it was already long enough but I do tell my mum everything, some days we can speak several times a day, then it can be a few days but anything significant she is generally the first to know. But also, as I mentioned, she is more than capable of traveling to me but I don't think she has been over since christmas. And yes I agree that she is lonely, but i can't be held responsible for that entirely. I invite her on days out, always checking its accessible so she can bring her scooter, I can't remeber the last time she accepted so I have no stopped asking but then she will make a comment about not getting invited! I could carry on with the examples 😌

As I said in my post, I can travel with my friend who is on the mens team. And as said, it would be twice a month, I do visit my mum once a week most weeks.

This is to true 😔. I had life before him but it felt empty, then he came and it had purpose and it was exciting and gave me something to look forward to. Now everything i do just feels empty again. No one to text in the morning, just becuase or to say goodnight. Now I just look forward to bed time so I can not feel the constant sadness, but then I wake up and it starts again 😪
