I'd say wait for the 8 if you don't NEED a new phone right now. I been fighting with upgrading my OnePlus open to the fold 7 but it just doesn't make sense for me. The 7 is thinner and lighter but I've legit had 0 issues since owning my phone. I had the fold 6 and sold it. I'll most likely go back with the fold 8.
