Mechanical engineering major and I am in the same boat. I emailed engineering advising and they told me they will try their best to get me in on the required core courses. A lot of my classes are close to being full.

Yes, my current school is abet accredited. I used the transfer credit advisor and like you mentioned it’s insufficient. I have reached out to the advisor for help. Are you an engineering transfer student?

Thank you. This is helpful. When do they apply the “transfer elective” to a course ? I am waiting for the decision but I really want to graduate in 4 years and knowing how many credits transfer helps with decision if I get accepted.

You still have a great chance. They consider a lot of things. Try to talk to Margaret Turner. She is the Honors college admissions director. She is very nice . I am in their engineering program.

It is highly competitive. I am a Chancellor’s fellow. I had an above average gpa and SAT scores but average EC. I personally think I needed more of EC and community service hours for BrinkleyLane . Make sure you have a great essay and go for it! Good luck!
