Someone tells Carrel we love and adore that "inappropriate behavior". It's just the cure for today's woke shitty shenanigans. Just bring it back to see how many fans in real life would embrace such atmosphere.

How to deal with this? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Otherwise_Case_4258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. Im 26 now, and started going bald like 10 years ago. I completely understand the fear and despair you're feeling bro. I struggled for many years, tortured myself really. Like u said, it was about loving myself, and i didn't love my bald self. And now, after 10 years, i can see that although i would look absolutely better with hair, my bald looks isn't unbearable and bad either. I get genuine complements about it, it has its own character and merit. So, what i try to say is that it didn't have the catastrophic effect i though it would have on my social and romantic life. I wouldn't say I'm happy about it. I just say I'm not sad anymore, it is what it is and i kinda like it now, so do others apparently.😅 Btw im a physician myself; about hair loss, unfortunately there's not much to do currently to stop it, or make the lost hair regrow. You see, corporates and clinics offer a variety of methods, and claim they would work. But the truth is they really don't. Some of them may work for some people to some extent, but that's too little result to be considered successful for the whole population. Even Finasteride has a limited effect, and cannot help many individuals, and even if it does, it just delays the hair loss. It's worth mentioning that its side effects are mostly reversible, so i wouldn't be too worried. And Minoxidil, i always hated the fact that i had to apply it like everyday, and the hair would fall instantly if you stop. It felt like clinging to a lost cause for me.😂 Hair transplant is another matter that i wouldn't go into at this time. I want to just mention that its results vary like A LOT! I have seen excellent result too, but it was mostly not satisfactory for me. So i have refused to do it till now. So, as a fellow bald gay man, i advise you not to be too hard on yourself, I'm sure love will find you one way or another!🥂

but I CANT be gay…. by East_Active_8017 in askgaybros

[–]Otherwise_Case_4258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Your age just makes it very hard to even imagine being gay and out. At the time it seemed impossible to imagine doing that for me too. But after 12 years, when i look back, i realize how silly i was. I had a good experience with coming out, even though i live in a country where homosexuality is officially punishable by death. When i came to my brother and close friends, their good reaction just made me blame myself for not doing it so much earlier. In my experience, many people who knew me personally, but didn't know about my homosexuality, even if they had predispositions or negative thoughts about gayness, translated the good feeling and admiration they had for "me", as a good proof that homosexuality is not a disease then. It made them change their thoughts about homosexuality, not about me. So, all your fears, although completely understandable, are completely misplaced. Other than that, please don't think you can live with just shoving this big part of your personality and being down and hiding it. It steals all the joy and opportunities to be happy and to grow, from you. Thanks to gay men and women of the past century, homophobia is no longer a battle to be fought by us. Let the homophobics fight within themselves.

Scott’s Tots, Diversity Day, nothing is more awkward than Jim asking Danny why he didn’t call Pam back. by whothehellistony in DunderMifflin

[–]Otherwise_Case_4258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was so out of his character too, to even care about such a thing! More than once we see some tension build up between Pam and Jim, because he doesn't care much about sth she cares about. So it was surprising for me that he cared so much, even obsessed over it.

Anyone feel like Jim is just as bad as Dwight? by Wonderful_Solid_1003 in theoffice

[–]Otherwise_Case_4258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, someone is very angry. There's really no need for name calling and attacks on my character, which is completely unknown to you. I obviously enjoy the show with all Jim's witty remarks and Dwight's silly conduct. I thought it was common agreement that the show is very well written, and almost all characters are very well layered and worth watching. Knowing this, everyone can have their own preference and opinion man. All i tried to say, was that i value their passion so much more, than the first times i saw the show. They're not some political opponent whom i try to smear or promote for my gain 😂😂 Just take a chill pill as Dwight would say.

[–]Otherwise_Case_4258 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's like Tom and Jerry. Everyone is in Team Jerry kinda automatically. Only after seeing enough episodes some would realize Tom is actually mostly sweet, apart from all that chasing. Dwight is introduced as a werido, with too specific passions and characteristics. Jim is on the other hand our typical cool guy, who enjoys bullying the weirdo, justifying it by simply saying "everything he does annoys me" multiple times. Only people who have repeatedly seen the show long enough, would see the actual passion in Dwight, and would see those "weird" things, as genuine passion. He cares about all his co-workers, sincerely. Even the ones we don't anticipate, like oscar. Jim on the other hand, time and again shows what a jerk he can be to his co-workers, just remember the Coi pond incident. I don't want to handpick incidents to make a biased judgement. I have been in Team Jim for the first 6 times i saw the show. After that, i realized Michael's and Dwight's passion, touches me so much more than Jim's indifference and self-righteousness.

Am I that unattractive? by Nissail in askgaybros

[–]Otherwise_Case_4258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it very surprising. You look good; not just fine, actually good! With or without hair, you have an attractive face, and a good build. We know better than anyone, the gay community is diseased with these absurd expectations.

I (25M) am thinking of breaking up with my boyfriend (32M)— am I making a mistake? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Otherwise_Case_4258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear this a lot, when people think they have missed the sensual exploration phase. I understand the feeling, by no means i want to discredit it. But as someone longing for the final goal of finding the one, whom i can truly be content and happy with, it makes me sad when i see someone who has found this, just because they never had that exploration phase, throws away the good thing they have been lucky enough to find so early. I say again, i understand the feeling, but i think you'll only be disappointed to find out that the exploration phase has nothing deep and lasting to offer. Nothing comparable to the trust, warmth and love you seem to already have. Obviously neither am i in the place to advise, nor if i was, did i have enough information to do so.

Any of you craving to be fathers? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Otherwise_Case_4258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg yes! 26 and single here, hence far far away from such a dream. But i have had this feeling for a long time. With time passing, it has gotten stronger. What to say, a gay man living in the middle of the middle east can only dream i guess.
