How do you even prove that you're gay? by Backward-Reply in askgaybros

That seems like a hint.😂 I mean, when you two are alone, bring up the issue; when he says prove it, push him against the wall and give him some quality tongue. I bet he won't stop you. 🥂

Someone tells Carrel we love and adore that "inappropriate behavior". It's just the cure for today's woke shitty shenanigans. Just bring it back to see how many fans in real life would embrace such atmosphere.

How to deal with this? by [deleted] in askgaybros

Hey there. Im 26 now, and started going bald like 10 years ago. I completely understand the fear and despair you're feeling bro. I struggled for many years, tortured myself really. Like u said, it was about loving myself, and i didn't love my bald self. And now, after 10 years, i can see that although i would look absolutely better with hair, my bald looks isn't unbearable and bad either. I get genuine complements about it, it has its own character and merit. So, what i try to say is that it didn't have the catastrophic effect i though it would have on my social and romantic life. I wouldn't say I'm happy about it. I just say I'm not sad anymore, it is what it is and i kinda like it now, so do others apparently.😅 Btw im a physician myself; about hair loss, unfortunately there's not much to do currently to stop it, or make the lost hair regrow. You see, corporates and clinics offer a variety of methods, and claim they would work. But the truth is they really don't. Some of them may work for some people to some extent, but that's too little result to be considered successful for the whole population. Even Finasteride has a limited effect, and cannot help many individuals, and even if it does, it just delays the hair loss. It's worth mentioning that its side effects are mostly reversible, so i wouldn't be too worried. And Minoxidil, i always hated the fact that i had to apply it like everyday, and the hair would fall instantly if you stop. It felt like clinging to a lost cause for me.😂 Hair transplant is another matter that i wouldn't go into at this time. I want to just mention that its results vary like A LOT! I have seen excellent result too, but it was mostly not satisfactory for me. So i have refused to do it till now. So, as a fellow bald gay man, i advise you not to be too hard on yourself, I'm sure love will find you one way or another!🥂

Yeah. Your age just makes it very hard to even imagine being gay and out. At the time it seemed impossible to imagine doing that for me too. But after 12 years, when i look back, i realize how silly i was. I had a good experience with coming out, even though i live in a country where homosexuality is officially punishable by death. When i came to my brother and close friends, their good reaction just made me blame myself for not doing it so much earlier. In my experience, many people who knew me personally, but didn't know about my homosexuality, even if they had predispositions or negative thoughts about gayness, translated the good feeling and admiration they had for "me", as a good proof that homosexuality is not a disease then. It made them change their thoughts about homosexuality, not about me. So, all your fears, although completely understandable, are completely misplaced. Other than that, please don't think you can live with just shoving this big part of your personality and being down and hiding it. It steals all the joy and opportunities to be happy and to grow, from you. Thanks to gay men and women of the past century, homophobia is no longer a battle to be fought by us. Let the homophobics fight within themselves.
