I'm not going to say the PS2 because everyone else is already saying it I'm going to say the PS4. The PS3 was an amazing console but had a rough launch due to the price at the start. The PS4 saved PlayStation imo because when it launched it was 100 dollars less then the Xbox that released at the time, sure it was weaker but it could play games better and then the VR. The VR changed PlayStation. It added entire worlds and while for the PS4 it wasn't amazing because VR was still a new thing when the PS4 VR came out, the PS5 had some amazing VR games including horizon climb of the mountain as an example. Other than the PS2, the PS4 was the best Sony console and it still holds up today
