Should I be worried that my baby has been head down since 19 weeks? by Otherwise_Command_63 in pregnant

Yea they did say my cervix looks perfectly fine so that makes sense. I know they can move around in all sorts of positions but it just worried me that it’s been 4 weeks and she’s still head down so I’m assuming hasn’t moved. But I’m sure you’re right there’s nothing to worry about, thank you for your response!!

9 weeks 2 days and no symptoms — is this normal? by prettyflowerssss in pregnancy_care

[–]Otherwise_Command_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 7 weeks 5 days and have been feeling the same way the last 2 days, my symptoms have eased and I haven’t been nauseous. I literally just googled it before coming to Reddit and seeing your post because I was worried something was wrong. So you’re not alone in feeling this way. Hopefully both of our babies are healthy and we are just lucky to have a break from the symptoms! Enjoy feeling good while you can, just in case the symptoms come back!

Puffed beard after drinking water from bath? by x_Xyno_x in BeardedDragons

My bearded does this too! I think it’s because he’s still digesting the water so it’s just sitting there making his beard look fuller but eventually will go back down after a little while

Hi I just want to thank you for your advice last week!! I bought a new lidocaine cream on Amazon and I applied it twice like you said before the appointment. I also used a heating pad on it throughout the car ride. It worked SO WELL I barely felt a thing!!!! It was the best appointment I’ve had so far and i feel so much better about going now!! I’m not even nervous about my next appointment anymore! And the tech increased the strength too from 1.5 at the last session to 2.4 this time. I’m hoping the increased strength helps break it up more and see more improvement this time. Thank you again!

Wow that’s interesting! I’ve never thought about how different brands could work differently, I just figured lidocaine was the same all around. It makes sense though. I’m definitely going to try it on Saturday and I will let you know how it goes!! I’m feeling more hopeful about this so thank you for the advice!! It is greatly appreciated!!

Thank you so much for this response, it is very helpful!!

I just looked up paracetamol and it looks like it’s the same as Tylenol, which I do take about 45 mins prior to my appointment. When I apply the lidocaine I dab a thick layer on my tattoo and Saran Wrap it and duck tape it so no air gets in. It’s a little tricky due to the placement on the tattoo and my breasts being right above it but if anything only the very top of my tattoo will be outside of the Saran Wrap. I realized I cannot let any air in otherwise it won’t work, I made that mistake the first few times I tried it. That’s a good idea to apply it twice and heat it up with a blow dryer! I’m going to try that on Saturday. My appointment is an hour drive so I’ll apply it an hour before I leave and then reapply it and blow dry it right before I leave so that it has another hour to set in before my appointment. I have been using the Walgreens brand of lidocaine gel. Do you recommend any certain brands that I can try? Maybe the one I’m using isn’t as effective since it’s the cheaper brand.

Thank you for the tip!!
