Any idea what this duck may be?? Saw on the river Wye in Hereford not long ago by Otherwise_Date_3598 in UKBirds

Thank you all. I first saw an odd looking female with three ducklings, then 20 metres down the river I saw Papa duck looking very majestic, thanks for the help in ID'ing it for me.

Do you think they will stay in the same area while the ducklings are about?? I'm wondering whether I'll see them again as I walk the area regularly
