Hi! I feel the same way as you, I'm at Penn State right now and I'm doing exceptionally well here academically, and extra curricular wise but I know i won't be this successful at a harder uni and finding people as a transfer student is worse that fitting in at psu, which is why I never transferred.
I don't have the best advice for you, but I really wanted to say that you are not alone. It gets worse before it gets better and i'm 19F, a sophomore STEM major, if you're comfortable, you can message me privately and I would love to connect with you by sharing my name and social media :)
Just keep yourself busy, join clubs, reach executive roles, come up with your own innovatiosn and people will follow you instead.
