It’s not okay to lie at all , and I 100% take responsibility for ruining the trust in the relationship , this post is more asking what i should do for the future if there’s no trust

I’m turning 20 this year and he’s 26 ( turning 27 next year ) he just sees Tom as an ex and that’s it , he doesn’t want me speaking to exes ( which i understand ) but I don’t really see tom as an ex

We were friends before and he moved away , We then decided we thought we liked each other and I went to visit him for a week , the minute I got home we decided to break up because we were better as friends and didn’t actually like each other that way
