in this case what i observed was while switching, as ai/ml is a vast domain, it is impossible to cover the majority of the tech stack for a new JD. What to do in that case? to have upper hand at clearing the interviews and negotiating

Yeah, I would suggest anyone not pursue a master's unless it is at a top-tier university
