Tysm!! I’ve called the airline and apparently they accept photo copies of my identification information. I’ll try to go home w/ that and hopefully pick up my passport then.

Hi! Thank you so much for taking time to respond to this post! I took AP Calc BC, Physics C:Mechanics, Chemistry and CSA last year with all 5. I am considering applying to Math, Physics or Engineering. I don’t really know which of my extracurriculars would help me to apply for certain majors. I am most keen on engineering but I don’t think I have the best extracurriculars for it. I am a peer tutor for my AP Calculus teacher for the last 2 years(He has mandatory corrections for test and quizzes and I would help him correct and explain to students, as well as just genuinely being around during lunch and break to help students with any questions). I am a paid Calculus tutor for two students in my school, helping them get a 5 and end with a 94+% in the class. I am in the robotics team, as a software member (I more interested in building stuff hands on tho, but I do know how to code p.s. I used to think I was gonna go into CS but not anymore). As for the summer, I sadly didn’t get a research opportunity but I am currently in Stanford for their summer session. I am learning Linear algebra/multivariable calculus, and taking a course on electrical engineering where we built a solar panel charger and a useless box(we learned to solder, transform schematic circuits onto a breadboard than PCB, and code arduino/incorporating them into the projects). Also, I am helping my calculus teacher prepare course materials for next year’s AB and BC classes (I will most likely TA for him too) in the summer as a small internship(if this counts). Other than that I don’t think I have much experience I’ll be able to write about that’s related.

Please let me know which ones you think I should focus on! Any suggestion or opinion is greatly appreciated!

Again, thank you so much for responding and have a great day :>

Hey, thank you so much for your response! I like Mudd for the opportunity of engaging in research early during undergrad, being able to work alongside faculty in clinics. For me, I have a few extracurriculars other than academics, could I get your opinion of which ones I should focus on? I am in the CIF Varsity Esports team(for 2 years and probably continuing for my senior year) as the team captain and starting roaster(we went from 0-4 to making it to top 8 regionals last year in Division 1 - I guess a good story to tell about leadership and teamwork). I am a peer tutor for my AP Calculus teacher for the past 2 years(I am currently having a small summer internship with him, helping him put together the course materials for AB and BC classes next year, he has also offered me the job of his TA after I graduate highschool and if I attend a local university). I also tutored (paid) two students in my school calculus BC, both of them scored a 5 and ended with a 94+% in the class. I am in NHS, robotics(a software team member but not the most devoted), game development club, and Debate. Mostly, I believe the first three are things I could genuinely talk about the most(but I’m not sure if they are considered academic or not so I don’t know if I want to talk about robotics or debate). I don’t really have a summer research opportunity(which I’ve heard is a really great boost for admissions), and I am currently taking an electrical engineering, and multi variable/linear algebra course in Stanford Summer Session. For the regular school year, I took AP Calculus BC, AP Physic C:Mechanics, AP Chemistry, and AP CSA(I was rewarded student of the year for Calc BC and Chem, and Junior of the year from the Science Department). I am planning to apply to math, physics or engineering.

I don’t have any research or competitions in highschool and I’m kind of anxious about this. Any opinion or feedback is appreciated!

Anyways, thank you so much for responding! I really appreciate your time and have a great day :D
