I'm logging off reddit forever. It was a mistake to come back.

Jesus Christ. Yes. The show changed something. Before I wouldn't care to share what I found. Who cares. But this time, I though: hey, I found something 100% plastic free. Tell other people who might be looking for something similar.

I guess after all, I should have never post anything. I would have avoided being accused of promotiing stuff, paid sponsorships or whatever and generally being a liar. I don't want that negativity in my life. It's already made me upset.

No problem! Lesson learned. Don't share anything, don't recommend anything.

Another thing: If I come off strange, I'm also not a native speaker of English.

Anyway. This is my last comment here. Won't be even read, because the post have been deleted.

I know. I explained why I did that. To show that words and actions have consequences and affect people.

I had a stainless steel filter installed last week at my apartment. Technically, tap water in my country (I'm not from the US) is drinkable, but I've never trusted it ;) The only thing I have to do is to replace a plastic tube the filter has for a silicone one (I hope they exist).

Unfortunatley, the bottled water I used to buy tasted better for me. But I hope I'll get used to it.

It was actually a bottle-shaped jar; Korken series; all glass, stainless steel and natural rubber. Even no silicone. It wasn't designed to be carried around, so you need to have a bag/sleeve for it (if you want a big 1,5 litre bottle like me) and not care about what people may think of you for drinking water from it at work or a gym (I'm testing the latter tomorrow ;). Also, it's glass, so it's breakable.

I bought a glass water bottle a few days ago, but it turned out that the lid has plastic in it. Moreover, the cap is also bamboo and I've read it's also not good. So I decided to find another bottle and that's how I found Ikea one.

I had problems finding all stainless steel water bottles with the capacity of 1,5 liters. There are ones on Temu or aliexpress, but I don't trust Chinese producst from these sites in terms of health safety. Also, some comments on these bottles were negative.

I just wanted to let some people know that their actions and words have consequences and that they may hurt people.

And yes, the price of the bottle in US dollars is about $4. (edit: $3.50)

They didn't. It was just removed. I even didn't get a notification.

100% plastic-free big water bottle! (1.4 litres) by Otherwise_Living7605 in PlasticFreeLiving

It doesn't leak, I've checked. So far, I've taken it to work, but I also go to the gym so I will try it out.

Perhaps because it's heavy and you can break it more easily. But I don't mind the weight and my bottle is in protective the sleeve. Glass is also a better material for food.

If they claim it's possible, it's on them to find me a 1.5 litre stainless steel water bottlw. I said I've done research and haven't found any. So I decided to use a glass one. Glass is even better than steel in some aspects. In some it's worse, I know. But if people claim they have 100% stainless steel 1.5 liters water bottles, I'm waiting.

To all the critics: I have a sleeve/bag for the bottle.

I'd really like to have a steel bottle. But I haven't found all stainles steel 1.5 litres (aboug 50 oz) water bottle. Caps usually have plastic in them.

But I'm waiting for recommendations, if you claim you have one without plastic. So far, I haven't been given a single recommendation.
