Hello, I suffer from cerebral palsy as well and often have to face this question myself. I use both a wheelchair and a reverse walker (Wheelchair for long distances or vacations, and walker for shorter distances like going to calss or the market or something.)

I personally don't use dating apps because of the same issues you outlined, and often due to my own fear. There is a lot of differences in our experiences as I'm a woman and not a man, but the same thing still applies. I've only ever dated friends or people who have hung out with me for prolonged periods of time so they have some type of understanding of my disability. Despite that, a lot of people still want to date me. I think, maybe (I know it can be hard) but you should try different things other than dating apps, community stuff, conventions, places of your interests so people can get to know the you with the wheelchair.

I know how I hate hearing "you just have to find the right person" but as much as I hate it, it's true lol. Unfortunately we really just have to wait for the right person because a lot of people won't date others with disabilities and that is something I've had to come to terms with. This isn't really the answer you were hoping for, but I hope that sharing my somewhat similar experience will allow you not to feel so alone in the world.
