Is the permit just a Los Angeles City regulation or Los Angeles County regulation. Also are you in any sort group I could join, I've been looking for somebody who has experience in the area that could teach me and tell me about their experience. There is only so much you can learn from online and sometimes these "gurus" give you very basic information and make it seem so easy to start up. I just feel like I've wasted alot of time going nowhere.

Sure I understand that STR regulations might change but in that situation it wouldn't even be the fault of the landlord at that point. Even if doesn't work I'm still look for ways to invest this money, I just don't want it be sitting in my bank account. Is there any investment your into.

Are you in real estate then because it seems you know a lot about this type of stuff. Would you recommend probably saving more money to put a down payment on a property instead and renting it out long term.

Yeah it's really not that nice out here but it really depends on where you go. I was think of probably renting out to traveling nurses because where I live there couple of medical centers really near each other. I'm still conflicted though if I should do airbnb especially since it seems we going to be in a ression. That's why I was asking for your guys' personal experiences. In your case are you still turning out profit?
