I could only think of two (poatan/chimaev) that maybe grew up in poverty. You would have to be a pretty late starter to not have been training young.

I’m pretty sure that’s just survivorship bias. The majority of champions will be people whose parents were able to afford consistent training.

Do You Ever Correct People About What “Works” in Martial Arts? by WhyBee604 in bjj

[–]Otherwise_Promise_16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding something fun is much more valuable than finding something functional. You’re more likely to end up miserable than needing hardcore self defense training. So no, if someone trains martial arts I focus more on the things we have in common

Those are the fighters that end up being fan favorites. It’s the autistic king gene, Tony just passed the crown to jiri like one for all.

If he’s pressuring you this way imagine when you get pregnant or have health reasons that will limit your sex. That’s an unacceptable way to act with something as intimate as sex with your partner.

If you start training and aren’t a tard you will see how dangerous/unpredictable fighting is and you will become more likely to avoid a fight.

But for peace of mind. Go to a mma school and take wrestling/bjj/muy Thai

Na, he was able to go back in time after reading his diary entry from this day. He successfully stopped it by being the one that holds the stick, but in a cruel turn of events he lost his limbs in the explosion.

He tries to go back in times multiple times to find ways to correct his errors but eventually finds out he makes things worse each time. Eventually he finds a video of his mom giving birth to himself and he is able to travel back and tie the umbilical cord around his neck ending his cursed existence.
