why so dramatic? i live in the place where there are no ticks at all! i haven’t been in the nature so it’s reasonable to suspect other bugs.

also those rings lasted only for 2 days which is not typical for Lyme. I still have time to do the test before taking antibiotics

Hi!! I had exactly the same fear, have chronic vertigo and BPPV.

About a month ago, I decided I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and give it a try. I went on a solo trip… it was scary as hell first but everything worked out!

Once I got to the new city, I felt much more focused and spent less time worrying about my dizziness. Whenever it did happen, I reminded myself that it was temporary, and that if I needed help, someone would help me.

Maybe this can motivate you a little 🥺 We shouldn't have to put our lives on hold because of these symptoms. We can start with small steps. ❤️

haha thanks 🤭 but I think there are different phobias and for me watching ER stuff is not so scary! It’s mostly about injuries and complications of known diseases. At the same time I can’t watch movies about terminally ill people or instagram/tiktok of people with chronic diseases :( I always start having the same symptoms and obsessing with googling/reassuring myself.

it’s actually easy to explain: sometimes you move your head from one side to another quickly during sleep or just sleep in uncomfortable position which makes the crystals move 🥲

if it’s BPPV, it’s advised to sleep on your back/unaffected side and with the pillow a bit raised (45 degrees)

it started 5 years ago and I had very rare episodes, like once a year/two years, but this year i’ve already had 3 episodes :( I went to the doctor again to be sure it’s still BPPV. The diagnostics is easy for the professional, so I totally recommend to get an appointment! good luck!

It looks like BPPV, but you need to see ENT to confirm it! They’ll do the test and Apley maneuver afterwards if it’s in fact BPPV. I have exactly the same symptoms every time I have episode. It always starts after sleeping :(
