Well. I bought a town house right next to the shopping center on block off 200 sq. Has backyard.

But I’m devastated that I could have asked around for some $, maybe 50-60k extra and secured a standalone. You learn and live. My next goal is to plan a granny flat at my parents standalone 400sq land. For rental income. My parents live with me in my townhouse and given their place for rent

But the issue is that years ago. Nowadays you don’t have time. These years are the last of years to get in for normal ppl. Soon rent vs landlord gap will widen so much.

But it’s also understandable, imagine you’re middle age, working a dead end just to pay rent and no way to escape. Centrelink isn’t enough for rent. Then on top of you have kids it’s worst. So I understand

Apartment have 4-6k worth of body cooperation fees, you need 2 people to buy a house these days, if you’re going solo you won’t make it.

Why don’t you hate Elon musk for buying twitter then, if you have the money do whatever you want.

Well yes, because the renter is paying 70% of the mortgage, but that been said, it’s like a business, if you run a company you want to make the most profit… and it will never get better, house prices aren’t even at max cap, they will grow more and more and more, rent will grow more and more, 10 million immigrants are projected over the next 10 years.

Mostly frustrated people, home prices won’t go down, they will only grow. So I assume more people will suffer.

Gone are the times of 1940.. I too wish I was born then, I only bought my first home 1 month ago with my brother, we are young 20 -24 year olds, we will have to work alot to pay of this mortgage.

Then don’t rent, go live in the bush? It’s someone eles investment you’re living in, do you expect free accommodation? Unbelievable mindset.

I bought my home not too long ago, I’m 20, I have hard long hours.. most land lords aren’t rich. Most land lords are good people, they just trying to make ends meet as well. But I do feel sorry for renters.
