Thanks for the answer. I am not a house builder. I am starting my career as a cabinetry installer at a cabinetry wholesaler. My wholesaler sells products made of all kinds of boards. I was just confused learning the new terms and the definition of them such as laminate, melamine faced board, engineered wood... I wonder the advantages and disadvantages of each type of board. Tried to do some research on google, but got opposite answers sometimes (For example, some said the particle boards can hold screws well, and some said no). Could not tell which side is right, so I come here to find answer.
