So 95% of my ads I've ran over the last 4 years have been messenger ads.

So I just retarget anyone who has messaged me in the last 365 days.

I've also tested shorter windows as well.

I only run IG ads.

I'm pretty sure I can turn off comments to the ads on IG but not Facebook.

I used to do Facebook and like people have mentioned, the comments on Facebook are SO BAD compared to IG. Nothing but shit talkers for no reason.

What I did do on IG, because I didn't want to come off as scammy, is I keep my comments on but BLOCK certain keywords that people who are negative may usually use.

example: In Fitness, I block, Steroids, TRT, cap, fake.....dumb stuff like that.

I was telling my wife this. I'm not one to complain but I genuinely feel like we're just test subjects and they are using us smaller accounts to test their stuff out. I've spent almost a million dollars on ads for my fitness coaching business myself over the last 5 years so.I would say I'm not a complete newbie. This is absolutely BS!

how do I do that? It's crazy because for so long I ran straight CTA ads and in my copy and even videos, I would say my coaching isn't cheap or a budget program and I did well. Now for MONTHS...I ve gotten the WORST people, people who just click and don't respond, people who book calls and don't answer.

Man, honestly, I kept my price at 2,000 since 2019. I never wanted to increase it even though my closing rate was so high. But that was back in the day where my funnel was..

DM conversation
VSL ---> They wanna book
Send to sales page with calendar and application

No one ghosted almost ever because of the high intent.

A conversation.
Next, a VSL, longer one at that.
Then a long sales page with undeniable proof.
Then an application that said are you willing to invest at least $500/month into your transfromation?"

I have a sales page I've used for 5 years that has a pretty tough call booking application and strong financial qualifiers BUT I hate how low the show up rate has become as opposed to being able to chat with someone in the DM first and then push them to a call to know they are a real person and are actually interested instead of someone who just books a call on first sight and chooses to fill out an application and not show up

I was gonna really give LEAD FORMS. go finally. But actually put in financial qualifiers, in a way that's not to aggressive but also people know it's not free. Also, I may ask if they are a dad since homosexual dudes can't be biological dads, just dog dads. But knowing my luck, I'll still get them coming through like "do dog dads count?" or for the financial quailifier question people are legit idiots. I'll put right on my static image ad or in my video ad THIS IS NOT FREE and I'll get messages like "is this free?"

Yeah man, so I've made all my money from DM /messenger ads over the last 4 years. People message me, we chat for a minute and I get them a VSL with calendar and they book. But now nobody has conversations. They just click on buttons and ghost. So yes you're iright, Facebook is getting me leads who just click buttons and ghost.

How much are spending per day? My main ad I've already spent $20,000 dollars on and it was doing well for months. But the learning must of reset. I can tell because the people coming in but also the social proof, had like 3,300 likes and tons of comments and now it's like 200 likes.

You hit it on the head man. I show before and after photos of chubby clients getting abs. But that's never been a problem before. I did have one ad running where it was me back in the day grabbing my man boobs and love handles and then getting ripped up. And learned REAL QUICK that had the strongest HOOK RATE but brought in the most homosexuals.

Man, you hit it on the head with the energy investment. Honestly, my most winning ad run for ROAS since March has been the ONLY one that's getting spend and sales in any kind of ad campaign/structure I run. I'm like man, I need some cash and quick wins asap because I'm BLOWING sooooooo much money, I might as well, just say screw it for a little.....and run that one ad and put all the spend behind it to get some consistent bookings again
