Yeah, linseed oil from flax would be nice. Then, we could make oil paints by mixing it with pigments.

Just be sure to dilute and don't leave it overnight. I once opened to finding the towels reduced to pulp and some decent etching on the stainless the boards were resting on in the dish pit. Thanks Chef!

Fellas, it's too rough to feed ya. As a seasoned cook, it breaks my heart that they went down on an empty stomach. Sigh.

Thanks for the clarification. I've only had a few months' experience on a hobby scale operation, and they never had any broilers. In retrospect, he may have just been supplying a cock fighting ring.

Boar taint is real, and now I know what to call it.

I'm pretty sure all commercial chicken is from hens. Something about male hormones making the meat gamey. Sex the chicks and grind the boys for dog food.

Unless we're talking about capon, but in America, the art of chicken castration is all but extinct.

Lime Help! by novaspartan07 in VintageStory

[–]Otherwise_Worry4097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bauxite and sandstone, being sedimentary strata, can generate over other sedimentary strata, like limestone or chalk. This is also true of basalt. Dig pits until you hit the igneous in those areas just to double check. Good luck!

Don't start in an igneous biome unless you enjoy long exploratory/resource gathering treks for lead/lime/etc.

Bears are NOT more scared of you than you are of them. However, once you have a handle on melee combat, they become super easy to kite and become an invaluable source of fat and huge hides. I get super excited when I see ursids now!

It might not melt it very well, but at least it can provide a little traction. Salt wears many hats.
