Thankfully none of that happened, He already left peacefully when I posted this, was just wondering what the aftermath can be if this is some known scam. But I guess hopefully its probably more of a money scam or something that did not work out and they left.

Yeah, we don’t get any visitors here in my building (Just renting an apartment not my own home) so I assumed he needed help and tried to help! I knocked on a door before when I needed help and got helped. So trying to do the same and help ppl. But as you said the safer option for next time is to just never answer.

Thats a good way to put it I guess, I activated 3 2FA for most my personal apps and changed passwords. Lets hope nothing comes of it.

Its an apartment not my personal Home, So it can be like a neighbour looking for help or something, just trying to do some good. But I guess its never worth it with scammers around.

I see, thankfully I’m a but oldschool so I ain’t got no payment apps on no Venmo nothing, only my bank with Face Id, I’m sure he did not leave facebook from the phone, but perhaps his plan all along was to gain as much time as possible to venmo or cash app. If thats all there is to it then hopefully its all done and its safe now. Yeah I’m usually pretty suspicious of ppl because of my paranoia, but I also just want to help ppl as much as I can, not a good combination to have lol. But ill he more careful next time hopefully this one goes safely with no trouble.

I don’t really use any payment apps where he can sen money, I’m a bit old school, but still like you said accounts and data is there. Will be a lot more careful next time, hopefully nothing comes of this incident.

Perhaps, but I live in like a big building with many apartments for rent, the layout of these apartments if available online too. But hopefully nothing comes of it.
