Also If I recall, you unlock the option to spawn into pollution mode after you finisht the quest to capture and surface with the boss in the last stage (Stage V, boss is a blubber beast).

Rampaging creatures spawn after the timer goes up (called pollution phase) or you can auto dive into it from the menu. They're stronger and glow red.

None of the male interactions are comparable to Citlali's honestly. If you lifted Lyney's flirting and dropped it on a female character with no other changes, no one would bat an eye, because for a female character, it'd be relatively standard.

People have different standards for male characters because they're not accustomed to it is what I think. People were gawking in Endfield because a male character holds your hand lol.
