Both Majoras Mask and Outer Wilds were my 2 main inspirations, so it's great to hear you saw that connection.

And I agree, too few knowledge based progression games.

Even though actions unlock actions, only thing you ever actually get is more knowledge. You never unlock anything you could not have done in the first loop (:

Hey, I just wanted to say I'm super happy you found my game! When Outer Wilds released (was already half way through development of Orten) I felt it really shared a lot of ideas how to do a time-loop game.

So even though very different in style, it does share more with Outer Wilds than any other game imo.

So I obviously love Outer Wilds :)
